JTS Open Classroom
Through the Open Classroom initiative, JTS invites you to audit graduate-level Jewish Studies 和 Hebrew language 课程s, deepening your Jewish knowledge 和 broadening your horizons.

All students attending 课程s on the JTS campus must follow the COVID protocols in place at the time they come to class.
How It Works
Open Classroom students learn alongside full-time JTS students 和 are subject to any relevant prerequisites, but do not take exams, submit papers, or receive academic 信贷 or transcripts. Note: in Hebrew Language 课程s, auditors do all required homework 和 take tests.
Students access 课程 materials via an online platform. We will do our best to offer you the 课程(s) you select but cannot guarantee enrollment if classes are oversubscribed.
As an Open Classroom student, you will receive additional benefits, including:
- A JTS student ID card
- Borrowing privileges from The JTS Library

The Open Classroom initiative does not offer 课程 信贷. If you are interested in receiving academic 信贷 for a JTS 课程, we invite you to learn about becoming a non-degree student.
HOW TO ENROLL
Applications are accepted approximately two months before the start of each fall 和 spring semester.
1. Choose your 课程(s). The Open Classroom catalog is posted 在这里 when applications are being accepted. C舔 在这里 to view the most recent 课程 selection.
2. Enroll. Your application will be reviewed within one week of receipt, 和, if your selection is approved, you will receive an email with registration 和 payment instructions. Unless you hear otherwise, plan on attending the first day your 课程 is in session.
Tuition is $750 for a 3 信贷小时 课程 和 $1,500 for a 6 信贷小时 课程.
